They draw you in with an oh, so persuasive sales pitch. I have yet to use my "points" on a real vacation, and they claimed that I could carry my points over to the next year and use them then, they neglected to say AFTER I paid the "annual fee" for maintenance. They are SCAM artists!! Do not go to any preview or answer any of their sales solitications!!!! My husband and I had a horrific experience with this agency. They solicited us to listen to a sales presentation and receive two free tickets to theme park. We did that, then they gave us voucher that would not work. Got that annual call to "review your plan" and sorry to say.. we showed up and got TAKEN... If anyone mentions Adventure Club Travel and Lifestyle, BEWARE!! The presenter will NOT tell you the truth about "getting your maintenance fee back".. Demonstrates as FREE merchandise with a dollar for dollar return. It is ***!! We stayed in the Coconut malorie in ocean city md 14 years ago. It was nice. Things have gone down hill. In need of major renovation. Everything needs work . My husband and I sat through a timeshare presentation in Myrtle Beach, SC and during the sales process we were told we would need to pay a down payment of $1,249.00, which we could pay by check. They booked us in cheap run down motel and filthy. We of coarse had to pay for the hotel at supposingly a discount rate. When we got in it was disaterious. The pool furniture was broken down and the property was in a dissarray . They do not clean the rooms or offer any ammenities for the bathroom. They only clean rooms twice a week. I own a festiva time share and would like to let let anyone that's even thinking about doing this know that its a total SCAM. Do not fall for anything or you will be stuck in this mess just like i am. They charge more money than they tell you and you're in a contract so you cant get out of it easy.
