I purchased a timeshare form the company by buying points. We were told that we should buy 1800 points to be used every other year. Festiva explained that as long as we called 30 before date we wanted to travel would be great and we would always get to travel. Well once we booked and signed we found out that they lied to us. I tried to pay my Festiva Resorts Timeshare maintenance fees in January when they were due. I was not able to log on the their website to do so, so I tried to contact them via email. I explained the problem and asked someone to call me - all to no avail. I did receive a reply telling me I used the incorrect email address to log on with. I even tried to call. I called to clear up corrections, I could her a woman screaming at someone in the background. The person I spoke with was rude and refused to make the corrections. The correction was not made, bill was sent to wrong place and by the time it came to me it was late and I owe late fees. I called to say I shouldn't have to pay since if the corrections had been made I would have had the bill. But... Read more

i have/had a time share with celebration world resort if florida atlantis way purchased in 2005i started off with 120300 points per year and have the deed etc then in 2009 i upgraded to every other year but purchased more points so went up to 360000 then festiva purchased celebration reaort and every thing went wrong ,, from 2009 i have had my rci points allocated and had a vacation xmas just... I worked with Festiva out of charleston , sc for exactly 10 days. After a few days of hyped up sales meetings and blatant lies by management and other sales reps I am happy to report that my ethics kicked in and I left. People, please do not fall victim to this Vacation SCAM. You will wast your time and energy not to mention you hard earned dollars by the thousands if you fall for their sales... Read more

Please stay away from these greedy money hungry scammers. You will be surprised to find out it will cost you points and cash to take the vacations you have paid for up front. The sales people will blatantly lie to you just to get your signature on their contract. The sales rep talked me into upgrading from 3900 Biennial to 5000 Biennial with Corp Elite included for $6,180 on 11/14/2013. The sales pitch was that I would receive initially $1,000 in savings credits and another $1,000 every time that I pay my maintenance fee. These savings credits will expire in 1 year. Please people out there customers, hard working people, please do you homework before getting into a bad deal. Extremely and awful customer support, all they say is nothing is available at this time. then your points are expired because you did not used. I CONTACTED AS I WAS TOLD TO DO BY SALES AGENT WHOM PRESSURED US INTO THIS CONTRACT. WE DID NOT BUY INTO THE RESORT TRAVELS DUE TO WORRIES OF JOB LOSS, SO THEY SAID WELL IF YOU SET UP PAYMENTS FOR 18 MONTHS YOU CAN USE THAT FOR WEB SITE OR A 1 TIME TRAVEL PACKAGE THAT WAY IF YOU LOSE YOUR JOB YOU CAN OPT OUT UNDER EXT. How this place got more than 4stars is puzzling..Outside walkway in big need of replacement. Furnishings and fixtures are worn and dirty.Hallway and guest bath have un-even floors.New windows and patio doors, but one was marked "broken".
