My husband and I sat in on the "low pressure" sales in Charleston last month. We went on a tour at Peppertree, Atlantic Beach, NC. They had just moved into their "new offices" so things were pretty "unprofessional" when we showed up for our tour. We were impressed with the "travel club" and the website and how our points could be converted to be used on cruises and used for airfare. Fees go up...fines if you r late...availability is terrible...we often end up not using the points..too frustrating. Very expensive for what little or nothing you get..but you feel trapped. Add comment

Went for a timeshare presentation - They rip you off big time!!! We got there at our appointment time of 7:45 am - waited till 8:05 before someone came to get us just to drive somewhere else where we sat forever to drive back & listen to a rude not so smart or great saleslady... we finally got rude ourselves and left at 11:30! My husband and I went to the lunch they offered to tell us what was gong on in with the KGI Resort that they bought we are were owners with KGI, but at this meeting just like everyone else stated they gave us points put us in the adventure club the bill is over 12,000. and we were assigned a personal rep, to book our stuff etc. however, we cannot get a call back from Sean Riley our Rep. oh yeah... We bought the Festiva Timeshare back in 2011 over in Murrell Inlet SC. With paying our payments, maintenance fees and what not, we were only able to use this once. The resort that we got in to was not at all the one we wanted and people were very rude. Every time we try to book a vacation there is never any available and when we call them to try to book it's always full and we can't get nothing.... Read more

We purchased in October 2013 and before we paid our first maintenance fees in January they went up $150.00, and after we had signed paperwork we were told we owed almost $400.00 in other fees....it never stops...don't buy into this company they will rip you off Add comment

Purchased 111,500 points in 2004 with Celebration World Resort which is now owned by Festiva. In 2013, they reduced my points to 36200. I purchased 111,500 points under contract and that's what I expect to receive each year. If they do not resolve the issue I want a full refund on what I purchased or I will take legal action against Festiva. I Have written a letter to Festiva, have not heard... Read more

I purchased a timeshare form the company by buying points. We were told that we should buy 1800 points to be used every other year. Festiva explained that as long as we called 30 before date we wanted to travel would be great and we would always get to travel. Well once we booked and signed we found out that they lied to us.
